CSR - Patient Scheduling

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Scheduler to manage appointment coordination, patient inquiries, and administrative support within a healthcare setting. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, verifying insurance information, coordinating patient referrals, and ensuring accurate and timely scheduling. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. This position requires working onsite in Eastwood on a night shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, accurately assessing and addressing patient inquiries and requests.
- Schedule patient appointments in accordance with insurance coverage and provider availability/preference.
- Coordinate, track, and follow up on new patient referrals.
- Manage scheduling for both new and returning patients.
- Conduct appointment confirmation calls one day prior to scheduled visits.
- Review voicemails and return all missed calls within the same day.
- Verify patient insurance information daily and at the beginning of each month.
- Prepare and forward inactive insurance reports to the appropriate departments.
- Monitor email communications and respond within 24 hours.
- Follow up on missed appointments and assist patients with rescheduling.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in any 4-year course.
- Prior experience in patient scheduling is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to work onsite in Eastwood.
- Amenable to night shift schedule.
- Currently residing within Metro Manila, Rizal, or Bulacan.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
