We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Lead Generation & Business Development Specialist to support an Australian hospitality recruitment agency.
This role combines B2B and B2C cold calling, lead generation, business development, CRM management, email campaigns, and recruitment support. The successful candidate will independently identify new business opportunities, engage prospective clients, generate qualified leads, set appointments, and maintain consistent follow-up throughout the sales process.
The role is commission-eligible in addition to the hourly rate, with commission paid for successful placements closed by the client.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Conduct B2B cold calls to Australian hospitality businesses, including restaurants, hotels, cafés, catering companies, and similar businesses.
- Introduce recruitment services, identify business needs, qualify prospects, close calls and book discovery appointments.
- Conduct B2C cold calling and follow-up with candidates and prospective clients as required.
- Perform reverse marketing by identifying Australian businesses actively hiring through SEEK and other job platforms.
- Research businesses, decision-makers, and relevant contact information to identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain accurate lead databases and sales pipelines.
- Conduct consistent follow-ups with prospects through calls and email.
Email Campaigns & CRM Management
- Create, launch, and manage email outreach and follow-up campaigns.
- Use Go High Level to manage leads, CRM activities, email campaigns, automation, and follow-up sequences.
- Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments to improve engagement and lead conversion.
- Accurately record calls, emails, appointments, follow-ups, and other activities within the CRM.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date records using CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, or Google Sheets.
Recruitment & Administrative Support
- Assist with candidate screening, initial interviews, and recruitment administration when required.
- Support recruitment and business development activities as needed.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
- Perform other administrative and business development tasks that support the growth of the business.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B and/or B2C cold calling, lead generation, appointment setting, sales, or business development.
- Confident making outbound sales calls and comfortable closing conversations and setting appointments.
- Strong follow-up skills with the ability to consistently nurture leads and prospects.
- Experience working with Australian businesses or clients.
- Experience using SEEK or similar Australian job platforms for reverse marketing and lead generation.
- Hands-on experience with Go High Level is highly preferred and ideally required. Candidates without direct experience should be highly adaptable and able to learn the platform quickly.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, customer interactions, sales pipelines, and follow-ups.
- Experience creating, managing, and monitoring email campaigns and automated follow-up sequences.
- Strong internet research and lead generation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and/or Google Sheets.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Flexible and comfortable adapting to changing business priorities.
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and require minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in recruitment, labour hire, hospitality, staffing, or sales is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate is a confident and proactive communicator who is comfortable making outbound sales calls, generating new business opportunities, following up with prospects, and setting appointments.
They should be results-driven, detail-oriented, and not afraid of sales conversations, while also being comfortable with CRM management, email campaigns, lead generation, and administrative tasks.
The successful candidate should be able to manage their workload independently, take initiative, and quickly adapt to new tools and processes, particularly Go High Level.
Working Hours
The role requires flexibility to support Australian business hours.
Regular schedule:
- anytime between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Australia time or 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Australia time or depends on peak support needed
- Monday to Friday
Flexibility may be required depending on business development activities, client availability, and operational requirements.
