Pipefitter / Pipe Welder (F2F)

Short Description

Pipefitters are required for the installation of pipework for chilled and heating water used to heat and cool buildings. Work will be for both overhead and underground piping, where threading and welding of pipes will be required. The role involves working with various piping systems in industrial and manufacturing settings.

Skill Requirements

• Sound knowledge of all Plumbing and Pipe Fitting aspects.
• Ability to work with different types of piping and the different processes to fit these pipes.
• Knowledge of reading and designing pipework plans for all building heating and cooling pipework.
• Ability to install piping for both overhead and underground.
• Pipe Fabrication experience and proficiency in interpreting drawings.
• Welding of pipe circuits constructed from carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Stainless steel pipe fitting experience.
• Ability to TIG weld in multiple positions (coded preferred but not necessary).
• Must be able to pass a Stainless GTAW (TIG) and Carbon GTAW (TIG) test. Copper pipe welding is a bonus but not required.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of work experience, preferably from overseas
• Can provide certificate of employment supporting the work experience
• With good level of English communication
• With valid driver's license
