Job Summary:

We are seeking a Machine Operator who is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner within a manufacturing or production environment. This role involves ensuring that machines are properly set up, monitored during operation, and maintained to meet production targets and quality standards. The machine operator will also troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform regular maintenance tasks, and adhere to safety protocols. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery to ensure proper functioning and high-quality output.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Record production data, report any issues, and assist in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Spanish Speaking candidates are eligible to apply.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training preferred.
• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Analytical skills
