About the job QA MANAGER

Responsibility: To develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs to ensure all products meet safety, hygiene, and quality standards; to oversee compliance with local regulatory requirements and international food safety requirements, as well as corporate customers requirements; to monitor and evaluate raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to meet company, regulatory and corporate customers quality standards; supervise, train and mentor QA/QC staff to ensure proper execution of food safety and quality standards and policies; to conduct risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions for any food safety and quality issues; to collaborate with production and operations teams to improve processes and minimize waste while maintaining product quality.

  • Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a QA role within the food processing industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Salary RM6K and above.
  • Expertise in HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and food safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with DVS compliance requirements.
  • Certification in food safety programs (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000, or similar)
  • Strong analytic, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in QA tools, laboratory testing methods, and process monitoring.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills, documentation and reporting skills.
