About the job QC ASSISTANT (OPERATIONS)
Responsibilities: To perform routine visual and physical quality checks on raw materials, products, and the production environment; to record data accurately, maintain quality assurance checklists, and ensure compliance with hygiene and GMP standards; to support the QA Officer by reporting quality and food safety deviations, assisting in sample collection, and maintaining documentation; to participate in pre- and post-operational sanitation checks, pest observation reporting, and internal/external audit preparation.
- Minimum STPM or Certificate in Science or related field; Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior QA / QC experience in food production is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices.
- Awareness of FSSC 22000, VHM, QMS, and Food Regulations 1985 preferred (training will be provided).
