Project Manager / Scrum Master Cybersecurity Program
Job Overview:
The Scrum Master - Cybersecurity Program will facilitate and support the agile development process of our cybersecurity transformation initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role ensures the effective application of Scrum principles, promoting teamwork, improving processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of our cybersecurity projects. This position will report to the IT PMO Manager and is based in our Atlanta Corporate Headquarters near the Sandy Springs area.
Primary Responsibilities:
Foster an environment where communication, teamwork, and innovation are encouraged.
Work closely with the cybersecurity team to ensure the alignment of the scrum team with cybersecurity goals and standards.
Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
Assist the team in identifying and removing impediments to cyber program progress.
Ensure that cybersecurity policies and procedures are integrated into the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with HR and IT to enhance cybersecurity awareness and adherence within the team.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments to ensure clear communication and understanding of cybersecurity initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment, with a strong preference for experience in cybersecurity.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile project management certifications.
Understanding cybersecurity principles, IT security trends, and best practices.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage conflicts.
