About the job SEO SEM and Content Specialist
Job brief:
We are looking for an SEO SEM and Content expert to manage all Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, and content activities in the Marketing department.
You will report to the Marketing Manager and be responsible for managing all SEO activities, such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google to maximize ROI.
Responsibilities:
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, and identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns.
- Manage campaign expenses by staying on budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
- Develop and implement the link-building strategy.
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
- Develop and maintain stories in the form of press releases, advertorials, articles, and blog posts, and post them on the appropriate channels.
- Manage email marketing efforts, from managing lists and drafting to launching campaigns, troubleshooting, and analysis.
- Create landing pages and blog posts and follow up on related creatives.
- Manage content creation and update for the company website and mobile application and ensure content stays up-to-date, relevant, and optimized for search engines.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Maintain a communication channel with the team and follow up with the daily tasks.
- Function within a team structure and operate as a partner to all team members across the Company.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven SEO experience.
- Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns on Google.
- Solid understanding of Performance Marketing, Conversion, and Online Customer Acquisition.
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints is a plus.
- Being up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
- Excellent writing skills in both Arabic and English.
- Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style, and layout.
- Edit, proofread, and improve social media written content.
- Very high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to continue building a skill set with education and training.
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a relative field.
- Interest in gaming and sports is a big plus.
- Familiarity in Front-End is a big plus.
- Familiarity with graphic design software is a big plus.
