Position Summary:
A highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative - Agriculture is required to join their dynamic team (3 Sales Rep are required). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise and sales support to our valued customers, primarily focused on vegetable growers.
As a Sales Agronomist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling agricultural products, including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and crop protection products in the assigned territory. You will use your agronomic knowledge to provide technical advice to farmers, helping them to improve their crop yields and overall farm productivity. Your role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and contributing to the growth of the company's market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide expert agronomic advice and recommendations to farmers on seed selection, fertilizer application, and crop protection strategies specially for Orchards and fruit trees.
- Conduct field visits to assess crop health, identify issues, and offer solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest agricultural research, trends, and technologies.
- Actively engage in sales activities, promoting the Company comprehensive range of products to vegetable growers.
- Build strong relationships with customers through effective communication and relationship management.
- Provide timely and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Identify and target potential customers.
- Conduct field visits to farmers and provide them with technical advice on crop selection, planting techniques, and pest management.
- Promote and sell agricultural products such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and increase market share.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to develop effective sales strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments, including sales, marketing, and technical support.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- 4-8 years of proven sales experience in the agricultural industry, specifically with vegetable seeds, fertilizers, and crop protection products.
- Strong technical knowledge of plant science, soil management, and crop nutrition.
- Strong sales and marketing skills.
- Knowledge of agricultural technologies and products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- STRONG command of Russian language.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Strong knowledge of crop management practices.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with farmers.
