Italian Content Moderator

Location: Porto, Portugal
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Schedule: Rotating Shifts to provide 24/7 coverage, with 2 days off per week

  • Shift Options:
    • Morning: 07:00 - 16:00
    • Afternoon: 14:00 - 23:00
    • Night: 22:30 - 07:30
  • Work Setting: 100% on-site

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary: 1,000 EUR per month on a 14-month contract
  • Annual Breakdown:
    • Base Salary: 14,000 EUR
    • Language Bonus: 2,400 EUR
    • Meal Allowance: 1,837 EUR
    • Total Annual Gross Compensation: 18,237 EUR

Additional Benefits:

  • Language Proficiency Bonus: 200 EUR annually, acknowledging your Italian language skills.
  • Meal Allowance: Enjoy a net total of 1,837 EUR per year.
  • Relocation Support:
    • Reimbursement of up to 400 EUR for economy class airfare after the first six months.
    • Accommodation in a shared apartment for up to 12 months with a discounted rent of 280 EUR per month (inclusive of utilities), deducted from your salary.

Role Overview:

As an Italian Content Moderator, you will:

  • Manage and moderate online video content, address complaints, and review legal notices, focusing on copyright issues.
  • Ensure timely updates and audits of content on a leading social media platform.
  • Guarantee compliance with community guidelines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay informed about the latest client products and services.
  • Adhere to strict accuracy and compliance processes regarding customer data protection.

What Were Looking For:

  • Language Skills: Fluent Italian (C1) and proficient English (B2), both written and oral.
  • Technical Skills: Adept at navigating computers and using PC applications.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Multitasking Ability: Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Repetitive Task Tolerance: Comfortable with performing repetitive tasks.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Soft Skills: Patience, professionalism, and excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Education and Experience: An associate degree in a related field is preferred, with 6-12 months of relevant experience.
