About the Role
We are looking for a System & Product QA Engineer to validate an advanced robotics platform as a complete, integrated product.
This is a hands-on QA role focused on end-to-end system testing, UX, automation, Linux deployment, and real-world product behaviour.
What You'll Do
- Validate complete user journeys across UI, backend, deployment, and robot/system states
- Perform exploratory and scenario-based testing from the perspective of operators and integrators
- Evaluate UX, system feedback, permissions, error messages, and operational workflows
- Write Python-based automated tests for integrated system scenarios
- Test installation, configuration, and updates in Linux/Ubuntu environments
- Investigate defects using logs, system states, UI behaviour, and pipeline results
- Document defects and test evidence using Jira/Xray
- Support regression testing, exploratory test cycles, and release readiness
- Work closely with Product, Frontend, Backend, Robotics, DevOps, and QA teams
Requirements
- Strong experience in end-to-end product/system QA
- Exploratory and scenario-based testing experience
- Ability to test across UI, backend services, and system states
- Python/scripting experience for test automation
- Solid Linux/Ubuntu fundamentals
- Strong bug reporting and defect investigation skills
- Experience with Jira and Xray, Zephyr, or similar
- API/integration testing experience
- Understanding of usability, user feedback, error states, and operational workflows
- Ability to investigate technical issues rather than simply execute checklists
Nice to Have
- Robotics, AMR/AGV, industrial automation, logistics, or warehouse software
- pytest, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, or similar
- Docker/Kubernetes
- ROS familiarity
- Distributed-system log analysis
- CI/CD and GitHub Actions experience
- Customer-facing enterprise software experience
Important
This is not a traditional manual QA or pure UI testing role.
The ideal candidate should be highly hands-on, with approximately 70% focused on testing, automation, investigation, and product validation.
Candidates must be able to assess not only whether a feature works, but whether the user understands what happened, why it happened, and what to do next.
