Digital Trust and Safety Specialist – Spanish Speakers
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Start Date: 6 July 2026

About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a sharp eye for risk and a strong sense of digital safety? Do you want to play a key part in keeping online communities secure and trustworthy? Join our Trust & Safety team in Sofia and help protect users across European digital platforms.
As a Digital Trust and Safety Specialist, you will review user-generated content, investigate suspicious activity, enforce platform policies, and respond to user reports concerning scams, fraud, harassment, and unsafe material. You will act as a frontline defender of a safe and inclusive digital environment, balancing speed, accuracy, and judgment in every case.
This role is perfect for analytical, resilient professionals who want to grow within a supportive and international work culture.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and review user-generated content against platform guidelines and community standards.
- Investigate reports of fraud, scams, impersonation, harassment, and potentially harmful or illegal content.
- Take appropriate enforcement actions (warnings, content removal, account suspensions) in line with internal policies.
- Analyze patterns of misuse and flag emerging risks or threats to the relevant teams.
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases to specialized units (legal, compliance, law enforcement liaison).
- Accurately document every case, decision, and action taken in the internal moderation tools.
What We're Looking For
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish (C1+) and strong English (B2+).
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Resilience and composure when handling sensitive, disturbing, or graphic content.
- Ability to interpret and apply written policies consistently and fairly.
- Experience in trust & safety, content moderation, fraud prevention, or customer service is a plus – but not required if you bring motivation and adaptability.
- Availability to work on a rotational schedule (Monday–Saturday, 08:00–21:00 | Saturdays until 18:00).
- Willingness to work onsite in Sofia.

- Salary adjusted to 2,000 BGN gross, matching the new position, while keeping the same relocation allowance (300/150 BGN) and benefits structure from your reference post.
