About the Role:
We are looking for a German-speaking Digital Content Screener to join our team in Lisbon. As a Digital Content Screener, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating digital content across various platforms to ensure compliance with our company's policies and community guidelines. You will play an essential role in maintaining the quality and safety of content while ensuring that the user experience is aligned with legal standards and platform rules.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work model, allowing you to work both onsite and remotely, providing a balance that suits your personal and professional life.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and screen digital content (images, videos, text, etc.) to ensure compliance with community guidelines and legal standards, specifically in German language content

Identify and flag content that violates company policies (e.g., offensive language, hate speech, inappropriate images, or videos)

Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Safety, Trust & Safety, etc.) to escalate and resolve high-risk or sensitive content

Provide detailed documentation of flagged content and actions taken, following internal protocols and reporting systems

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital content trends, online safety regulations, and company policy changes

Monitor content for emerging trends or recurring issues and suggest improvements or adjustments to screening practices

Assist in creating and refining content review guidelines and procedures to keep them aligned with the latest policies and standards

Ensure that content screening decisions are fair, consistent, and objective, adhering to platform guidelines and legal frameworks

Support the customer service and community management teams by providing insights on content-related issues that impact user experience
What You Bring:

Fluent in German (spoken and written)

Good command of English (spoken and written)

Previous experience in content moderation, digital content screening, or a similar role is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to make quick, informed decisions regarding digital content

Understanding of online safety, community guidelines, and legal compliance (e.g., GDPR, copyright laws)

Familiarity with common digital content screening tools and platforms (e.g., social media platforms, content management systems, moderation software)

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically

Ability to handle sensitive and controversial content with professionalism and neutrality

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
