Position Overview:
As a Spanish-Speaking Content Review Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the content on our platform meets high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You’ll be responsible for reviewing and moderating Spanish-language content, ensuring that it adheres to the platform’s guidelines. Whether you’re working onsite in Lisbon or choosing a hybrid model, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe and engaging experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Review: Review and evaluate user-generated content in Spanish, ensuring it aligns with platform guidelines and standards.

  • Policy Enforcement: Enforce community guidelines and ensure that all content adheres to safety, compliance, and quality standards.

  • Content Moderation: Flag inappropriate or harmful content, taking appropriate actions such as removing or restricting content, in accordance with platform policies.

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor content trends and provide feedback on potential issues or areas for improvement in content moderation processes.

  • User Communication: Communicate decisions to users, offering clear and respectful explanations regarding content removals or moderation actions.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, legal, and customer support teams to resolve content-related issues, improve processes, and ensure the best possible user experience.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of content reviews, decisions, and actions taken. Ensure thorough documentation for transparency and accountability.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of community guidelines, providing insights on user behavior and content trends within the Spanish-speaking community.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is essential.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to communicate with international teams.

  • Prior experience in content moderation, quality assurance, or a similar role is highly preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to make quick and accurate decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain content moderation decisions professionally and clearly.

  • Strong understanding of online content guidelines, safety protocols, and compliance standards.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of cultural sensitivities within Spanish-speaking communities to ensure fair and context-appropriate moderation.

  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) or moderation tools (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce).

  • Familiarity with SEO or digital marketing principles.

  • Additional languages (e.g., Portuguese, French, or English) are a plus.
