Role Overview:

As an Insurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our insurance operations, ensuring that our policies and services meet the highest standards of quality. You will lead a team, develop strategies to enhance business growth, and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service. Your fluency in French will be vital as you will be interacting with French-speaking clients and stakeholders regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the insurance department, ensuring policies and services are delivered efficiently.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the insurance team, ensuring they meet performance targets and maintain high standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability in the insurance business.
  • Oversee the acquisition and retention of French-speaking clients by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to insurance products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to insurance policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to stay competitive and innovative in the industry.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and resolve issues or escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Provide training and development to team members to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
  • Report regularly to senior management on team performance, business developments, and market insights.

Requirements:

  • Native French speaker or C2-level proficiency in French (both written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in an insurance management role or similar leadership position.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a team effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Proven track record of achieving business objectives and targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) to communicate with non-French speaking stakeholders.
