About the Role:

We are looking for a German-speaking Content Moderator to join our team in Barcelona. As a Content Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing, filtering, and moderating content on our platform, ensuring that all content aligns with community guidelines, legal standards, and company policies.

This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work, combining both onsite and remote work options, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to a global company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and moderate content (including text, images, and videos) submitted by users in German

  • Ensure all content complies with company policies, community guidelines, and legal requirements

  • Investigate and resolve reports of inappropriate content in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, customer support) to ensure content moderation is aligned with business objectives

  • Flag content that may pose legal or reputational risks and escalate when necessary

  • Monitor trends in user-generated content and provide feedback on patterns, potential issues, or improvements

  • Update and refine content guidelines based on new policies, platform changes, and user feedback

  • Provide support and assistance to users regarding content-related inquiries or issues

  • Ensure the quality of content moderation while maintaining high productivity standards

What You Bring:

  • Fluent in German (spoken and written)

  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)

  • Previous experience in content moderation or social media management is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive content

  • Familiarity with community guidelines, copyright laws, and online safety regulations

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across different departments

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to maintain a professional attitude in challenging situations
