Position Overview:
As a Portuguese-Speaking Content Integrity Associate, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that the content shared on our platform meets the highest standards of integrity, quality, and compliance. You will monitor user-generated content, review reports, and ensure that all content aligns with our guidelines. This role is key to maintaining a safe and engaging experience for our Portuguese-speaking audience, as you play a crucial part in detecting, preventing, and addressing content violations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Monitoring: Regularly review user-generated content in Portuguese to ensure it aligns with platform guidelines, safety protocols, and quality standards.

  • Guideline Enforcement: Enforce community guidelines by flagging, removing, or restricting content that violates policies, while providing clear explanations to users when necessary.

  • Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Analyze content meticulously, ensuring all decisions are fair, accurate, and consistent with our integrity standards.

  • Reporting: Document and report content violations, patterns, and trends, ensuring all decisions are transparent and well-documented for future reference.

  • Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams, including customer support, product, and legal departments, to resolve complex content issues and ensure platform integrity.

  • Content Trends & Insights: Identify emerging content trends or potential risks, providing valuable feedback to improve content policies and user safety.

  • User Communication: Engage with Portuguese-speaking users to provide feedback, guidance, and clarification on content moderation decisions.

  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on moderation tools, processes, and guidelines to ensure high-quality content management.

  • Cultural Sensitivity: Use your understanding of the Portuguese-speaking community’s culture to make informed content moderation decisions that are both fair and contextually accurate.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken) is essential.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with international teams.

  • Experience in content moderation, community management, or quality assurance roles, particularly in digital or social media environments.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review large volumes of content quickly and accurately.

  • A passion for digital safety, online integrity, and ensuring a positive user experience.

  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism, empathy, and fairness.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions based on established guidelines.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in a clear and respectful manner.

  • Familiarity with content moderation tools or platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working remotely or in hybrid work setups.

  • Knowledge of digital content trends and online community behaviors.

  • Experience with data analysis tools or content management systems (CMS).

  • Knowledge of online safety, privacy, or compliance regulations.
