Position Overview:
As a Nordics Community Guidelines Specialist, your role will be to ensure that our digital community stays safe, respectful, and in compliance with community guidelines. You will focus specifically on the Nordic region, reviewing content, managing interactions, and providing guidance to users in line with our policies. You will be responsible for investigating reports of misconduct, providing accurate feedback, and helping to enhance user engagement through consistent and fair moderation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Moderation & Enforcement: Review and enforce community guidelines by evaluating user-generated content, ensuring that it aligns with the platform’s standards, and taking action on violations where necessary.

  • Investigations: Investigate reports of inappropriate behavior or content violations within Nordic communities, ensuring fairness and consistency in all decisions.

  • Content Management: Assist in identifying trends and patterns of harmful content or behavior, working with the team to prevent future issues and improve community standards.

  • Communication with Users: Communicate directly with users in the Nordic region to provide explanations of decisions, assist with compliance, and ensure that they understand the community guidelines.

  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the customer support, product, and legal teams to identify and address emerging risks, improve guidelines, and escalate issues when necessary.

  • Continuous Improvement: Help improve community guidelines by providing insights based on your experience and user interactions. Propose updates to policies when needed to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of content reviewed and actions taken, ensuring clear documentation of cases and a thorough understanding of user issues.

  • Cultural Sensitivity: Utilize your knowledge of Nordic cultures and languages to ensure fair and accurate content moderation that is sensitive to regional nuances.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in one or more Nordic languages (e.g., Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish) is required, with excellent written communication skills in English.

  • Experience in content moderation, community management, or customer support roles, especially in online communities, social media, or digital platforms.

  • Strong understanding of online community guidelines, safety, and compliance policies.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess content impartially and consistently.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and complex issues with empathy and professionalism.

  • Good understanding of Nordic cultures, customs, and regional online behaviors.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for communication with international teams.
