You will play a key role in upholding brand integrity, legal compliance, and user trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and flag content that violates internal guidelines or applicable laws (e.g., hate speech, misinformation, copyright infringement).

  • Liaise with legal, trust & safety, and content moderation teams to ensure consistent enforcement of standards.

  • Interpret and apply regulatory frameworks (e.g. DSA, GDPR, NetzDG) to everyday content review and enforcement processes.

  • Assist in developing and updating content policies and compliance documentation for the German-speaking market.

  • Prepare internal reports and risk assessments related to content trends and compliance issues.

  • Support audits and investigations related to content regulation and data handling.

  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on evolving compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in German (native or near-native level) and proficient in English.

  • Proven experience in compliance, content moderation, policy enforcement, or trust & safety roles.

  • Solid understanding of German and EU content regulations (e.g., NetzDG, DSA, GDPR).

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working with sensitive or challenging material.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Legally authorized to work in Spain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Legal or policy background, or relevant certifications in compliance or data protection.

  • Experience with digital platforms, social media, or user-generated content environments.

  • Familiarity with content moderation tools (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, internal CMS).

  • Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, French) are a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.

  • Flexible working model: onsite or hybrid from our Barcelona office.

  • Full training and continuous development in digital compliance and safety.

  • Inclusive, international team environment.

  • Health & wellness programs and employee support initiatives.

  • Career progression in compliance, content policy, or regulatory affairs.

  • Relocation support (if applicable).
