About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy German-speaking Help Desk Associate to join our support team in Barcelona. You will be the first line of contact for German-speaking users needing technical assistance, providing high-quality support to resolve issues quickly and effectively. This role offers flexibility with both onsite and hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to German-speaking users via phone, email, and chat.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Guide users through step-by-step technical solutions and escalate more complex cases when needed.

  • Document and track all support interactions using the internal ticketing system.

  • Ensure a high level of user satisfaction by delivering responsive, clear, and effective assistance.

  • Collaborate with other IT and support teams to ensure fast and efficient issue resolution.

  • Stay updated on company systems, tools, and support protocols.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in German (native or near-native level) and proficient in English (written and spoken).

  • Previous experience in a help desk, IT support, or technical customer service role preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a basic understanding of IT concepts (e.g., Windows/Mac OS, networks, software installation).

  • Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Authorized to work in Spain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using help desk or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).

  • Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.

  • Knowledge of additional languages (Spanish, French, etc.) is a bonus.
