Position Overview:
As a German-Speaking Content Integrity Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that all user-generated content on our platform aligns with our guidelines, policies, and ethical standards. You will review content, enforce community guidelines, and take action when necessary to ensure a positive, safe, and enjoyable experience for our German-speaking users. Whether working remotely, hybrid, or onsite, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the digital space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Moderation: Review and evaluate German-language user-generated content to ensure it adheres to company policies, community guidelines, and safety standards.

• Policy Enforcement: Apply content guidelines with precision and consistency, flagging or removing content that violates platform policies, while ensuring fairness in decision-making.

• Communication & Feedback: Engage with German-speaking users to provide feedback on content moderation decisions, ensuring transparency and clarity in all communications.

• Trend Monitoring & Reporting: Identify trends in content violations, report patterns, and suggest improvements to the content moderation process to enhance platform integrity.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality content standards by identifying and addressing any content-related issues, inconsistencies, or gaps.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with teams in product, legal, and customer support to handle complex content-related issues and resolve user complaints in a timely manner.

• Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure content moderation decisions are culturally sensitive and contextually appropriate for the German-speaking audience.

• Continuous Improvement: Provide valuable feedback on content guidelines and moderation processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of platform safety and content quality.

Requirements:

• Fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential.

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with international teams.

• Experience in content moderation, community management, or a related field is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to make quick, accurate decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills to explain decisions clearly and professionally to users.

• A passion for upholding online safety, digital integrity, and creating a welcoming online environment.

• Ability to remain calm and objective when handling sensitive content or situations.

• Comfortable using content management systems (CMS) or moderation tools (experience with platforms like Zendesk or Salesforce is a plus).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or customer service.

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and content moderation tools.

• Knowledge of online safety protocols, data privacy, and compliance standards.

• Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.

• Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, French, or English) are a bonus.
