About the Role

MOV.AI is looking for a Robotics QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and safety of its autonomous robotics platform. This is a hands-on role focused on validating complex robotic systems through software testing, simulations, and automation—not traditional manual web application testing.

Your Responsibilities

• Validate robotics software through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes.
• Perform simulation-based testing using Gazebo and robotics environments.
• Develop and maintain ROS-based automated test solutions.
• Manage test plans, traceability, and quality documentation using Jira.
• Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and help drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Robotics, Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Support structured release validation and quality processes throughout the development lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in robotics software testing or QA engineering.
• Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System) and robotics simulation tools such as Gazebo.
• Experience with Python for test automation.
• Familiarity with Jira and structured test management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Passion for robotics, automation, and delivering reliable software in complex environments.
