Senior Databricks Expert

Dataciders Catenate Bulgaria is looking for talented and motivated Senior Databricks Expert to support and optimize our Azure Databricks platform, with a strong focus on automation, CI/CD, data engineering, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure Databricks, clusters, Unity Catalog, and Delta Lake
• Build infrastructure with Terraform
• Implement CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and data models
• Troubleshoot Spark jobs, performance, security, and access
• Support and mentor the engineering team

Requirements

• 5+ years of Databricks experience
• Strong Terraform and CI/CD experience
• Deep knowledge of Spark, Delta Lake, and data modeling
• Experience with Unity Catalog
• Strong Python/Scala and SQL
• Azure experience and good client communication skills
