Job brief
As a Business Operation Associate, your goal is to help manage the workload of
generating new leads and converting them into paying and repeating customers. Your main focus is to ensure that all business development strategies are completed weekly and to analyze the results from each effort, in order to help the leadership team make decisions that increase revenue and allocate resources effectively.
Ideal Hire
The ideal hire is someone who has strong communication skills, strong time and task management skills, and comes with solutions to problems they proactively identify. Candidates who have been part of an early stage company or the launch of a new sales organization will do well in this position and be a master at reviewing the what and clearly understanding the why.
Responsibilities
- Following up with leads and strategic partners curating touch-points as you nurture contacts
- Running cold outreach software to leads and making sure we send 100 partner leads per day
- Monitor and analyze metrics such as open rate, response rate, and bounce rate, and iterate actively based on the results
- Joining sales calls and taking notes on pain points, needs, and other data which needs to be added to our CRM to help us analyze which variables attribute to a customer converting or not
- Assisting in the development and implementation of new business strategies and initiatives.
- Making updates to our BD strategic documents
- Making updates to our BD strategic documents and sales material based on weekly learnings
- Reach out to service providers and conduct initial calls to understand value proposition and alignment to our goals.
- Assisting with onboarding new clients and owning sales touch-points as they move into next stages.
- You are also expected to propose growth experiments and new outreach methods to increase revenue and improve our business development strategies.
- Maintaining the client database
- Providing support to the leadership team as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in a new sales organization
- Confidence and similar experiences to running each of the workflows above.
- Have a proven track record of owning multiple responsibilities and outperforming.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
