This role supports the company's international expansion under its "All-Waters Strategy." Leveraging Singapore's status as a global hub for marine technology and trade, the incumbent will establish and oversee the operational framework across Southeast Asia. 

Core Responsibilities

• Regional Strategy & Execution: Develop business plans for Singapore and the Southeast Asian market aligned with corporate strategy. 
• Lead the establishment, compliant operations, and team building of the local subsidiary, ensuring all overseas activities adhere to local laws and regulations.
• Market Expansion & Brand Building: Leverage Singapore's international gateway advantage to develop client networks across the Asia-Pacific region (e.g., Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand) in sectors such as maritime, ports, oil & gas, and defense..
• Resource Integration & Partnerships: Engage with government agencies, research institutions, industry associations, and channel partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia to build strategic collaborations, secure policy support, and deliver benchmark projects.
• Cross-Cultural Management & Compliance: Lead recruitment and management of local talent to build high-performing, cross-cultural teams.
• Oversee overseas financial, legal, and tax compliance to mitigate operational risks.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree or above from top-tier universities.
• Preference given to candidates with engineering backgrounds (e.g., naval architecture, automation, mechanical engineering, computer science) and those holding an MBA.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in overseas market operations or overseas subsidiary management. Prior experience in smart manufacturing, high-end equipment, AI, or the maritime industry is highly preferred.

Competencies

• Strong business acumen and proven ability in business development; familiarity with Southeast Asian markets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with multinational corporate operations and management processes, with a strong compliance mindset and risk mitigation capabilities.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English for business communication (required as working languages), with proven cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
