Corporate & Commercial Associate Lawyer

Our Client

is one of the top and well-established Maltese law firms. They are looking to bring on a motivated lawyer to join their Corporate & Commercial team, with meaningful involvement in mergers and acquisitions work.

We are deeply embedded in our clients' recruitment operations, working directly with senior decision-makers including Partners, Managing Directors, Board members, and C-suite leaders across international firms and high-growth platforms.

What the role involves

• Supporting and handling M&A transactions from due diligence through to completion
• Drafting and reviewing transaction and completion documents
• Broader corporate and commercial advisory work
• Working under the direction of senior partners as part of an established team

What they're looking for

• Fully warranted, with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant legal discipline (LLM or equivalent) or at least two years of post-qualification experience viewed favourably
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
• A collaborative team player
• Strong communication skills in both English and Maltese, written and verbal
