The Sr. Revenue Accountant will require excellence in execution and problem-solving, attention to detail, and a proven track record of month-end close.

This role will give us the opportunity to work closely with our revenue teams, as needed, to execute month-end close processes, drive process efficiency, and build for scale.

Responsibilities:

Month-end close

  • Establish knowledge with the Order management team to ensure that our Enterprise customers' billing is accurate and complete at month-end.
  • Consolidate and perform validation for month-end close activities.

Customer services / internal team support

  • Serve as the primary source of expertise for the order management, collection, and revenue teams regarding accounting for cash/invoices and month-end inquiries, offering comprehensive knowledge on all aspects of enterprise billing.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality for all customer records.

Problem-solving / troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot potential accounting issues, and propose process improvements, and is able to work and collaborate with other team members from the vendor and client.
  • Collaborate and execute the vision for the Revenue Operations function, fostering a culture of collaboration, and data-driven and scalable processes to support growth.

Soft skills

  • Able to work in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to rapid changes seamlessly, and serving as a valuable asset to the client's revenue team.

Requirements:

  • 6-9 years of experience specifically with order management, and accounting
  • Preferred experience in the Enterprise SaaS/B2B industry but not required
  • Basic understanding of software revenue recognition principles according to ASC 606
  • Experience navigating complex customer procurement processes and revenue accounting month-end process
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Billing System, Stripe, Intercom, and/or similar systems
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, especially when working directly with customers and Sales
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Excel, as well as GSuite, Slack, and Adobe Acrobat
