Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Anaplan Administration SME to support the ongoing administration, enhancement, and expansion of our Anaplan platform. This contractor role will play a critical role in user provisioning, model updates, data management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the Anaplan ecosystem is scalable, efficient, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform complex manual updates and Anaplan model changes in response to user or business requests.

  • Build, maintain, and improve Anaplan models and dashboards with a focus on accuracy, usability, and performance.

  • Elicit, analyze, and document requirements for small to medium-sized requests, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.

  • Translate business needs into actionable development tasks and partner with technical teams to deliver outcomes.

  • Conduct thorough testing of routine updates and enhancements to ensure continued functionality and user-friendliness.

  • Gain a deep understanding of business processes and continuously optimize models to improve user experience and data quality.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating to technical leads as needed.

  • Develop relationships of trust with stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption of Anaplan solutions.

  • Perform ad-hoc deep-dives into emerging or high-priority business problems, using Anaplan capabilities to surface insights and solutions.

  • Expand knowledge and ownership of new use cases and models as Anaplan adoption grows.

  • Manage existing and incremental integrations within the Anaplan workspace, ensuring accurate and timely data is available to the end users of Anaplan.

    

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience working in Anaplan, including model building and administration.

  • Strong understanding of Anaplan model architecture, workspace management, master data management, and access controls.

  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional Anaplan solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment and driving initiatives from ideation through implementation.
