About the job Sr. Procure-to-Pay Data Analyst
The Senior Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in transforming PTP and T&E data into actionable insights for executive and operational decision-making. Reporting directly to the PTP and T&E leadership, this role will also partner closely with the Sourcing teams Center of Excellence (COE) to align reporting strategies, optimize analytics capabilities, and support enterprise-wide goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with the technical expertise and business acumen to drive meaningful change.
As part of an offshore team, you will report directly to the local team lead and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in the US, ensuring that our vendor management processes are efficient and accurate. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detailed duties & Responsibilities:
- Data Normalization & Hygiene:
Ensure all data from PTP systems (e.g., Zip, NetSuite, ERP) is normalized for consistency, reliability, and actionable insights.
Develop and enforce data hygiene practices, including routine audits, error checks, and validation protocols, to maintain high data quality.
Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies or inaccuracies, ensuring integrity in all reports and dashboards.
Partner with IT and functional teams to streamline data flow and ensure accuracy across platforms.
- Advanced Analytics & Insights:
Design and deliver executive-level dashboards via data visualization tools, providing real-time insights and performance metrics.
Leverage predictive analytics and trend analyses to uncover opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and operational improvements.
Collaborate with the Sourcing teams Center of Excellence (COE) to enhance dashboards, integrate new data sources, and ensure consistent reporting practices.
Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership teams across Finance, Sourcing, and Procurement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as the primary data analytics resource for PTP and T&E operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Partner with the Sourcing COE to drive enterprise-wide reporting consistency and optimize analytics solutions.
Work closely with IT to ensure accurate and efficient data flows from Zip, NetSuite, and other ERP platforms.
Liaise with executive stakeholders, including Finance and Sourcing leadership, to align data insights with organizational goals.
- Process Improvement & Automation:
Identify and lead initiatives to automate data workflows and reporting processes.
Proactively assess existing PTP and T&E processes, recommending system enhancements and analytics solutions to improve efficiency.
Stay abreast of emerging trends in data analytics and PTP reporting to continually elevate practices.
Requirements & Other skills:
Experience:
5+ years in data analytics, PTP, T&E, or related fields, with demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, and similar tools. Strong experience with Zip, NetSuite, and ERP platforms preferred.
Data Quality Focus: Proven experience in data normalization, hygiene, and quality control processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage with executive stakeholders and influence data-driven decision-making.
Leadership Skills: Experience in leading data strategy initiatives, developing KPIs, and owning strategic reporting frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in managing data environments for global, high-volume organizations.
Familiarity with sourcing analytics and procurement reporting.
Advanced certifications in data analytics, finance, or process optimization (e.g., CPA, MBA, or related).
Experience with machine learning or advanced predictive analytics.
