Sr. Production Supervisor – Tooling Fab
Castelion is seeking a world-class tooling fabrication professional to lead a team of highly skilled Technicians and be the focal point between engineering and manufacturing teams. The core focus of this role will be fabrication of tooling and large-scale ground support equipment for our long range, precision strike missile systems.
This is a frontline production leader role blending hands on technical leadership with collaborative operations responsibilities. We are looking for a candidate with a history of executing in ambiguous fast paced aerospace hardware manufacturing environments to deliver high quality products within stringent timelines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise shop floor activity, including daily schedules and workflow.
- Lead and manage a staff of up to 10 technicians, including performance management.
- Hire and develop the team based on output and skillset requirements.
- Maintain tooling and consumable inventory.
- Identify and develop training as required from the skills matrix .
- Track and execute on deliverables out of the Tooling Fabrication shop.
- Develop the fabrication shop in terms of space, equipment and layout.
- Develop and maintain a safe working environment.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years of leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 8+ years in an aerospace manufacturing environment with specific focus on tooling and GSE fabrication preferred.
- Bachelors degree in an associated field.
- 3+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
- Intimate knowledge of MES software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
