About the job Draughtsman(Cashbuild Internal Applications Only)
Responsible for creating accurate Technical Drawings to specification using computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed technical drawings, blueprints and schematics for various projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 with Draughting or Architectural certificate with minimum 10 (ten) years in same or similar position within retail or construction industry
- Ability to communicate in English
- Numeric Skills
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must have attention to detail
- Must be computer literate (AutoCAD / MS Projects/ MS Power Point)
- Ability to travel local and in SADC countries
- A solid understanding of engineering, architectural principles is required and building standard.
Draughting technical and construction drawings to specifications
- Creating Technical Drawings to specification using computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for various projects.
- Ensuring Accuracy and Completeness of drawings ensuring that they meet project specifications, standards, and regulations, and make necessary revisions based on feedback.
- Revise and Update Design specifications for Cashbuild Group and drawings based on project changes or modifications.
Effective Design and collaboration with project stakeholders
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and designers to understand design requirements and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct Site visits to gather information and ensure design accuracy.
Administration
- Organizing and maintaining drawing files and project documentation.
- Annual updates of all standard specifications relating to drawings
