The main purpose of the position is to provide application support to internal and external customers and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of projects requiring custom solutions and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identifying customer requirements and gathering all relevant details from stakeholders, data sources and suppliers to determine the feasibility of the project.
  • Meet with suppliers to design and source custom products to meet customer requirements.
  • Perform product testing and validation to ensure that the custom solution is reliable, compliant to the necessary standards and meets the customers expectations.
  • Lead all CANBUS related work and projects to ensure that CAN data is reversed, captured, and maintained correctly.
  • Provide after-sales support to customers to assist with any technical or product related issues after project completion.

Requirements

  • Experience in the telematics field, Debugging, checking Firmware and configs
  • Skilled in SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, primarily for executing "selects" for troubleshooting and reports.
  • Familiarity with Procedural SQL (PL/SQL).
  • Command line proficiency in Linux, ability to check logs and identify errors
  • Experience in Python

What we deal with: Troubleshooting, escalating, resolving all internally escalated application errors / new feature requests / any general inquiry relating to any Cartrack telematics platform (both internal and client facing).Doing this for all Asia Pacific countries on a daily basis.
