Responsibilities
Human Resource Functions and Data Reporting
- Perform full spectrum of HR functions excluding recruitment
- Responsible for the implementation of HR policies, practices and processes at country level
- Assist in monthly payroll for all levels and monthly reporting
- Assist in payroll, ISO 27000 and SOX 2 Audits
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for audits and compliance purposes.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS Systems
- Analyze HR Metrics and generate reports on workforce trends, turnover and engagement.
- Conduct assessment and evaluation on a continuous basis regarding the performance of the staff
- Work closely with management and submit performance or other reports to Head Office.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Manage and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to enhance employee experience
- Assist in implementing performance management processes, including evaluations and goal-setting.
- Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement.
- Work closely with leadership to develop succession planning strategies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws
- Well versed in processing payroll, government mandatory benefits and Labor Law
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a hands-on approach and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance is an added advantage.
