Profile

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in automation with experience working on large-scale projects. The ideal candidate should be a strong individual contributor who works independently and thrives in dynamic and demanding environments, effectively managing multiple priorities.

The right person for this role will be outspoken, a strong communicator, and decisive, capable of articulating ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Role

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of APIs that power web and mobile applications.

While this is an individual contributor role, you will collaborate closely with developers, manual QA testers, and the product manager to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Must Have

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• 4+ years of experience in building and maintaining automation tests for APIs
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management practices
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Tools: Experience with API testing tools like Postman
• CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab

Nice to Have

• Testing Frameworks: Experience writing automated test scripts with tools like Selenium or Appium
• Database: Basic understanding of SQL and how to interact with databases for testing
