NFVi Engineer (Nokia)

Position: NFVi Engineer (Nokia)

Require: 1 Position

Contract: 6 months (Extendable)

Project: DTAC CDC MS OA BO Core

Expected Start Working Date: 1-Nov-2020

Job Descriptions

·         Participating in planning, implementation, configuration of cloud networking solutions

including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, overlay networks, and SDN networks

·         Support for incident, problem management to fix the problem with workaround, permanent solution for good network quality, stability and reliability on NFV network.

·         Perform hardware, software preventive maintenance for NFV Telco cloud platform

·         Provide 2^nd tier technical support for FE, other teams for troubleshooting, resolving cloud service and performance issues.

·         Implementing appropriate security, and monitoring tools for cloud networks

Qualification

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge in GSM, UMTS, LTE, IP Network, SIP, DNS, SS7, Diameter, Routing and switching, QoS, etc.
• 2+ years of experience in Virtualization, SDN, NFV, Open flow and hybrid cloud
• Knowledge of IP Networking, datacenter network technologies and internet routing protocols (BGP, GRE, VxLAN, etc.) will be preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, and subject matter experts.
• Good communication skills with proficiency in English language
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions effectively
• Experienced script programming, Linux, Python will be preferred

Workdays / Time: Monday -Friday 08.30 AM -05.30 PM.
