About the job Project Tool Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom Excel-based tools, macros, and VBA scripts for data analysis and automation.
- Design and manage MS Access databases, including forms, queries, and reports for data tracking.
- Create dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports for real-time data visualization and decision making.
- Develop scripts, applications, and automation workflows using Python, SQL, or other relevant programming languages.
- Optimize data processing by minimizing manual interventions and improving efficiency.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and enhance tool functionalities.
- Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for integrating and managing large datasets.
- Provide technical support and training to users on developed tools and reporting systems.
Job Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering,
Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, VBA, Power Query, and
PivotTables). - Expertise in MS Access (including database design, SQL queries, and automation).
- Strong Power BI skills, including DAX, data modeling, and visualization
- Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, SQL, or R for automation and data
processing. - Database Management: Experience in database management (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or
similar). - Experience handling large datasets and implementing data optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and integration of various data sources.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions like Azure, or AWS
- Knowledge of APIs and integration techniques for data exchange.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or other automation related languages.
- Internal Tool Development: Previous experience in internal tool development and workflow
automation. - Business Systems Integration: Experience in integrating automation with business systems
(ERP, CRM, or custom tools).
