About Us:
We are collaborating with a leading financial services company looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced AML Officer for their startup in Lithuania. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with AML/CFT laws and maintaining the integrity of the company's financial operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transaction Monitoring: Identify, generate, and process information on transactions subject to financial monitoring, forwarding relevant details to the Financial Intelligence Unit (AFM) in compliance with AML/CFT laws.
• Policy Development: Develop and finalize the company's AML/CFT policy, ensuring it meets all regulatory requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the completeness of submissions to the authorized body as mandated by Lithuanian legislation on AML/CFT.
• Risk Analysis: Analyze, coordinate, and examine agreements/contracts and various documents to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Documentation Development: Create documentation in accordance with the requirements of the National Bank of Lithuania.
• System Updates: Provide requirements for updating administrative panels of payment systems to automate AML/CFT checks.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in compliance within licensed financial institutions, such as banks or payment services.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Russian and English.
• Certification: AML Certificate is Advantageous.
• Education: Higher education in legal specialty, economics, or finance.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and work with large volumes of information.
• Technical Skills: Experience with AML software and other banking/payment systems.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of banking, payment, civil legislation, and AML/CFT laws.
