We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman (Maintenance Specialist) to join our facilities team in Bogotá. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day maintenance operations, ensure the upkeep of the premises, and assist with minor technical repairs to support smooth facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance work, including painting, patching, cleaning, and basic facility repairs.

• Conduct minor repairs on company machinery, equipment, and appliances as required.

• Inspect facilities regularly to identify mechanical issues, safety hazards, or cleanliness concerns.

• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and service calls.

• Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, and general repair tasks in compliance with safety standards.

• Report major maintenance issues requiring specialized attention.

• Support facility improvement initiatives and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or technical support roles.

• Valid drivers license.

• Proven knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.

• Skilled in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Willingness to work rotational 12-hour day and night shifts.

• Knowledge of HVAC/Air Conditioning systems is an advantage.

• Height work certification is a plus.
