SUMMARY:
• Ensure that all guests are served to the property’s standards in the Restaurant, Bar, Executive Lounge & In-Room Dining outlets.
• Display highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times within all food and beverage areas.
• Takes all food & beverage orders for all outlets assigned as per the established standards in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To ensure a smooth daily opening and closing of the F&B Outlets.
• Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
• To ensure that the buffet is spread out in order for all meals.
• Prepare mixed drinks as per the beverage concoction list.
• Properly open and pour wine as per beverage standards.
• To execute all mise-en-place duties and responsibilities as directed on time, according to the predetermined standards.
• To engage in beverage preparation and service delivery as per the predetermined standards and sequence.
• To have a thorough knowledge of all menus, drink lists, and wine lists and to be able to respond to guest inquiries.
• To take daily inventory including for bar and report any loss or damage.
• Reduce, control and record breakage of material and equipment.
• To ensure timely requisitioning of materials from the stores and maintaining the records for the same.
• To ensure cleanliness and maintain the general upkeep of all the equipment and facilities in coordination with the housekeeping and engineering regarding the cleaning and maintenance schedules.
• To ensure that all in-room dining orders are served and cleared on a timely basis.
• To handle guest complaints and feedbacks effectively and communicate to the immediate supervisor for follow up.
• Basic cashiering duties, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
• Tally the Credit Card settlements for the day with the batch closing report from the EDC machine.
• Close the shift to the POS terminal.
• To check the cash float and handle all the cash transactions undertaken in the restaurant in course of operations and organized transfer of the cash to the reception cashier.
• Print closing report and drop the cash with the front office/accounts department.
• Coordinate with the stewards, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and completing financial transactions.
• Maintains the table culture and restaurant ambience at all times.
• Any other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATION:
• “N” Levels and above
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 1 – 2 years in F&B operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Fair knowledge of F&B operation.
• Basic cashiering skills.
• Basic cocktail making skills and coffee making skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Presentable.
• Ability to work in a rotational shift as per the demand of the operation.
