WHAT
YOU WILL DO
Reporting to the Director of Sales (DOS), the Sales Manager is based at the Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore and is accountable for the following:
· Develop sales strategies to align client segmentation, competitor analysis and corporate Oakwood strategies in the Bangalore region
· Communicate and review the Sales Team’s performance metrics against key performance indicators
· Negotiate business optimum rates to maximize sales revenue
· Develop and manage new and existing sales channels and sales leads in Bangalore region
· Participate in relevant industry events for networking and sales lead generation
· Develop consultative selling techniques to identify client’s needs in the Bangalore region
· Prepare and present sales proposals to customers and lead follow-up with customers to close sales
· Conduct negotiation of sales agreement with the required stakeholders and customers
· Develop actions for client’s requests that deviate from signed sales agreements in the Bangalore region
·
· Follow-up with key accounts ensuring initiatives and strategic plans are executed per plan
· Provide the best customer experience for both customers and associates from Oakwood property in Bangalore region
·
· Communicate customer feedback and market sentiments to relevant internal stakeholders to enhance products and services.
· Plan and execute sales trips to create outbound sales including promoting Oakwood at events or functions.
· Develop measures to enhance client retention and loyalty based on the analysis of customer data and purchasing behaviour (e.g. ROI)
· Strive for continuous improvements to achieve desired business targets and results

Contribute
to special projects when required
WHAT
WE LOOK FOR
· Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, Management or equivalent
· At least 5 years of proven Sales experience with a strong knowledge of the hospitality sector
· Proven track record in a Hotel or Service Apartment from a reputable International Hotel Chain is preferred
· A creative and self-motivated individual who is able to work well with ambiguity
· An effective communicator who is capable of connecting with people at all levels and achieving business results
· An effective negotiator with a win-win outcome and has excellent problem-solving skills
· Financially skilled in preparing budget and sales reports
· Ability to multi-task and work well with teams and individuals
· Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
· Fluency in local language is beneficial in growing the customer accounts in Bangalore region
· Travel for this position may be required
