They are seeking an experienced Inspections Manager to lead one of the most critical departments in the organization. This is a full-time, salaried, in-office administrative management role overseeing the Fire Life Safety Inspections Department. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate scheduling, documentation, compliance, and support for field technicians — all while upholding the highest standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage inspections across a wide range of systems, including:

  • Fire Alarm Systems
  • Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems
  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Backflow Prevention Assemblies
  • Commercial Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems
  • Smoke Sensitivity Testing
  • Smoke Control Systems
  • ERRC / DAS Systems
  • Clean Agent Systems
  • Other specialized fire life safety systems

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and support the Inspections Team, ensuring daily operations run smoothly
  • Schedule, coordinate, and track inspections with technicians and customers
  • Verify reports for accuracy and code compliance prior to delivery
  • Maintain current knowledge of NFPA standards, AHJ requirements, and Washington State inspection regulations
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding results, deficiencies, scheduling, and follow-up work
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, timelines, and documentation standards
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance department efficiency and the overall customer experience

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in fire alarm or fire life safety inspections
  • Strong understanding of inspection processes in Washington State
  • Working knowledge of NFPA codes, local AHJ requirements, and life safety compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, inspection reporting platforms, and Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility administrative environment
