About the job Outside Sales Representative
Our client's company, a processor and distributor of Fresh & Frozen seafood, Specialty & Exotic Meats, is seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Outside Sales.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing new business directly with various establishments in the food industry, including restaurants, hotels, motels, casinos, country clubs, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the market share within Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.
- Develop new business relationships with restaurants, hotels, motels, casinos, country clubs, white linen restaurants, restaurant chains, convention centers, and corporate businesses.
- Utilize prospecting skills to identify potential clients and manage relationships effectively.
- Offer menu consulting services to commercial kitchens, including restaurants, casinos, municipalities, and food trucks.
- Take charge of hunting for new business opportunities to increase market share.
- Operate within the designated territory of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, with the requirement to live within 100 miles of the Spokane office.
- Experience in prospecting, setting appointments, and closing deals with various establishments in the food industry.
- Previous experience in wholesale Seafood or Meats is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and proactively to secure new business opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to report to the office on Mondays and Fridays.
