Known for technical expertise, top-tier product lines, and internal career growth, they are seeking a Territory Manager to oversee and develop the Hillsboro branch’s sales territory.

This role is a hunter/farmer hybrid, requiring both account management and new business development. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from farmers and industrial operators to OEMs, military, marine, mining, and aerospace customers. Managing and growing your book of business means ensuring customers have the right stock, processing orders, and even personally delivering products when needed. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to discuss technical products with purchasing agents, engineers, and end users alike.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a sales territory within the industrial and marine sectors
  • Sell a variety of power transmission (hydraulic) products, including pumps, valves, hoses, fittings, filtration, and lubricants
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their stock and supply needs are met
  • Process orders, track shipments, and occasionally deliver products when necessary
  • Work with OEMs, engineers, purchasing agents, and end users to provide technical product support
  • Identify opportunities for new business and drive sales growth in the region
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service and delivery

Qualifications

  • Experience in relational, consultative sales with a proven ability to manage accounts and drive growth
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, filtration, or related industrial products (R-0H brand experience is a plus)
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently to manage a book of business
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage customers at all levels
  • Sales maturity and a results-driven mindset
