The Benefits Producer role is integral to their continued success, requiring a proven ability to generate prospects, build credibility, foster strong relationships, and close deals.

Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities within the Group and Individual Benefits insurance lines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, centers of influence, and business networks.
- Consult with businesses on their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, from initial prospecting to deal closure.
- Outline business plans, leveraging existing relationships and market insights to drive revenue growth.
- Transition or broker books of business where applicable, or restart production with a clear plan to meet revenue goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience selling Employee/Group Benefits lines with an independent broker.
- A proven record of validation in the mid-market space—only candidates with demonstrated success in this area will be considered.
- Ability to generate and maintain credible client relationships and consistent pipelines.
- Preferred candidates will have:
- A book of business that can transition or broker of record.
- Clear business plans with genuine existing contacts, centers of influence, and defined target markets.
- Revenue targets of at least $5,000 annually.
- Open to candidates with books of business exceeding $500K in revenue—purchasing opportunities available.
