We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Security Tools & Solutions Engineer to manage, optimize, and support organization's cybersecurity tools and solutions. This role ensure operational effectiveness, supporting security initiatives, and implementing security best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management, renewal, administration and optimization of the organization's range of cybersecurity tools and solutioning (e.g. Endpoint Protection (EPP), DLP, PAM, IAM/IGA, DAM, proxies, IDS/IPS, email security, NGFW, and vulnerability management tools)
- Take ownership of security solutions documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Design, implement, and oversee end-to-end deployment of security solutions aligned with security-by-design principles.
- Conduct cybersecurity operations, ensuring assigned security solutions are functioning effectively.
- Support cybersecurity assurance activities such as VAPT, Red Team exercises, and Tabletop drills.
- Assist in security incident response activities, including containment and recovery processes when required.
- Identify and implement security controls to ensure solutions meet the required security posture.
- Provide support to the security division, and other initiatives to strengthen overall cybersecurity awareness.
- Work closely with vendors to assess and evaluate organization's cybersecurity technologies.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- Min 4 years of experience in administering and managing cybersecurity tools and solutions.
- Min 2 years of experience in cybersecurity operations within on-premises or AWS cloud environments.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud security, SaaS-based PAM, identity security solutions, and firewall rule reviews.
- Solid understanding of Linux, Unix, and Windows operating system
- Scripting/programming knowledge (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
