POSITION : CORPORATE TAX ADVISOR - Reporting to Manager Audits
PACKAGE : 800 - 1000 BD ( Bahrain Dinar ) + Air Tickets for Family once a year + incentive 10% any new lead + Heath + life insurance for family
LOCATION : Bahrain
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax laws, regulations, rulings, and case law to ensure accurate interpretation and application in client engagements.
- Assist clients in identifying tax-saving opportunities and developing effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Review and analyze corporate tax returns and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to assess and optimize the tax implications of business transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and divestitures.
- Conduct tax due diligence reviews to identify potential tax risks and provide recommendations for tax optimization in transactions and corporate structures.
- Stay updated with changes in tax legislation, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively advise clients on their impact and potential planning opportunities.
- Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries, representing them before tax authorities, and providing necessary documentation and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including auditors and accountants, to ensure the integration of tax considerations into financial statements, audits, and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing proactive tax guidance and solutions.
Pre-requisite
- Fully or partly qualified in CA.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance is an advantage.
- Proven work experience of 3 - 5 years as an Corporate Income Tax preferably in an external audit firm, tax consulting firm, or the tax department of a large corporation.
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, including expertise in local tax laws and international tax concepts.
- Proven experience in tax planning, tax optimization strategies, and identifying tax-saving opportunities for corporate clients.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex tax laws and apply them to specific client situations.
- Familiarity with tax software and proficiency in using tax research tools and spreadsheets.
