STAFF NURSE

 Job Description:

Position: Staff Nurse - SAUDI ARABIA

Job Purpose: As a Staff Nurse, your role is to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of patients. Your responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Your dedication to providing compassionate care and adherence to professional nursing standards will contribute to the overall quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care:
  • Assess and monitor patients' health conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical status.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Perform nursing procedures, such as wound dressing, catheterization, and venipuncture, following established protocols and infection control measures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and answering questions.
  1. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Document all nursing interventions, medications administered, and changes in patient condition.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  1. Communication and Collaboration:
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing clear instructions and explanations.
  • Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication of patient information.
  • Participate in healthcare team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to care planning discussions.
  1. Patient Education:
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  • Provide information on medication usage, potential side effects, and preventive measures.
  • Offer guidance on lifestyle modifications and promote health promotion and disease prevention.
  1. Quality Assurance and Safety:
  • Adhere to nursing standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean patient care environment, following infection control protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the evaluation and enhancement of patient care services.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Valid nursing license or registration in the respective jurisdiction.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
