Job Title : Manager Industrial Engineering
Job Summary:
Applying industrial engineering principles and lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement, optimize workflows, and reduce waste throughout the apparel manufacturing operations.
Special Highlights:
03 04 years of experience in handling a similar capacity with extensive experience in lean & industrial engineering
Salary:
- Gross Salary Rs 500,000 to Rs 700,000 + Company Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement industrial engineering and lean strategies: Formulate and execute strategies to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and create action plans to implement lean practices.
- Continuous improvement culture: Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Encourage employee engagement and participation in process improvement initiatives, promoting a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Lean implementation: Develop and implement industrial engineering and lean strategies: Formulate and execute strategies to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and create action plans to implement lean practices.
- Standardization and documentation: Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent and efficient execution of manufacturing processes. Regularly update and maintain process documentation to reflect changes and improvements.
- Project management: Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvement projects. Define project objectives, develop project plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Training and development: Conduct training programs to educate employees on industrial engineering concepts, lean methodologies, and process improvement techniques. Foster a learning environment and promote the adoption of best practices across the organization.
Qualification and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) in industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and process improvement, preferably within the apparel industry.
