Job Summary

Your role as a Garment Technologist Manager is crucial in ensuring the smooth and successful

production of garments, maintaining quality standards, and leading your team to achieve excellence in

garment production.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with design, product development, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes from initial sample development to final garment production.
• Setting and maintaining quality standards for garments, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Creating detailed technical specifications and providing guidance to garment technologists and suppliers regarding construction methods, materials, and production techniques.
• Evaluating and selecting suppliers, coordinating with them on technical matters, and conducting regular supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Overseeing fit sessions, analyzing fit issues, and working with design and pattern-making teams to achieve accurate and consistent fit and sizing across garment ranges.
• Ensuring that garments meet regulatory requirements and conducting tests for fabric performance, colorfastness, durability, and other relevant parameters.
• Leading and mentoring a team of garment technologists, providing technical guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Prerequisites

• Professional qualification in Textile from a recognized University/ Institute

• Prior experience in apparel dyeing would be an added advantage.

• Minimum 10 years experience.
• In-depth knowledge of garment construction techniques, pattern-making, grading, fitting, and production processes.
