Elevator Maintenance

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Elevator Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on elevators and escalators to ensure their safe and efficient operation. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on elevators and escalators according to established schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
3. Conduct tests and adjustments to ensure proper functioning of elevator systems, including motor controls, safety features, and operational mechanisms.
4. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and component replacement, to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
5. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and parts inventory.
6. Respond to emergency service calls and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.
7. Collaborate with the installation teams to provide technical expertise and support during new equipment installations and upgrades.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment and following safe work practices at all times.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in elevator maintenance
3. Strong knowledge of elevator systems, components, and controls, including traction and hydraulic systems.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
5. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to meet maintenance schedules and deadlines.
